S.A.Ts Results etc.

We are proud of the achievements and progress of all our children not only academically, as the results below show, but more importantly because they are well rounded individuals who continue to develop emotionally, socially and spiritually.

So what does scaled score mean: Each child’s raw score in the test (32/50 in the reading test, for example) is turned into a scaled score, based on making comparisons with the other children across the country who took the same test. The scaled scores are centred around 100. That means that:

A score of 100 means the child is working ‘at the expected standard’ for a Year 6 child. 80 is the lowest possible score and 120 is the highest.

Compared to national figures our children exceeded scaled scores in both reading and mathematics.

A pupils' progress score is the difference between their actual KS2 result and the average result of those in their prior attainment group. If child A, for example, received 102 in reading at KS2 and the average KS2 reading score for her prior attainment group was 101 - her progress score would be +1. In all core subjects our average progress scores are positive and have been for the last 3 years.
